Every few years, a new Hollywood “It” girl emerges, but very
rarely does she also play one on TV. Five
years ago, Blake Lively began portraying socialite Serena van der Woodsen on
one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows, Gossip Girl. In an extreme case of
life imitating art, Blake Lively’s career and personal life have become quite
something to gossip about. Since taking on the role of Serena, Blake has made
the jump to the big screen in major films, dated Penn Badgley, Leonardo DiCaprio,
and as of yesterday, she married Hollywood “It” boy Ryan Reynolds!! She’s become
the face of Chanel and now, Gucci (fragrance). Rumor has it; she donned Chanel
for yesterday’s nuptials. Here’s to the new Mrs. Ryan Reynolds, Hollywood
darling, Blake Lively. I think her A-List status is finally official!
